Bring your own gear if you have the correct gear. Have the deckhand bait you up and set up trolling rigs and use their knowledge, but allow you to take it from there unless your a beginner.

Nuj Kay Marlin Monroe is a fantastic crew with a great captain and boat!! Go for the bigger boat, avoid cheap rates with smaller boats as you’ll pay for it out on the water. Marlin Monroe was perfect for a family of 4, and kids slept down low in the cabin which also made it well worth it.

get to the marina early an hour if possible because of Uber cancellations and the security at the marina and the distance from the gate to the boat and leave time to run a credit card over a phone. also take two Dramamine at least two hours before and plenty of sunblock.

Fishing was a little slower due to it being a full moon the night before, so the fish were feeding more at night. But our guide worked hard to find were the fish were biting and we still landed 5 fish in the boat on the 4 hour trip and hooked up on a couple other fish that came off before they got to the boat. Overall an awesome experience.
